A preview video for episode 1 of the I Shall Survive Using Potions anime has been released on the official website, in line with its October 7 premiere. Jumondo Studio will be animating the adaptation, with Nobuaki Nakanishi as the director. Takayo Igami oversees the series composition while Chisato Kikunaga manages the character designs.
A synopsis of the first episode has also been released on the website, and it is described as follows:
Kaoru Nagase, who lost her life due to a mistake made by Earth’s administrator, is reincarnated in another world, Verny, as a girl named Kaoru. Verny’s administrator, Celestine, tells her, “The ability to speak, read and write in every language in this world,’ ‘The ability to put the medicine you want into the container you want,” “The capacity is infinite, and there is no internal time lapse.” She is given an item box that she can put in and take out freely, but cannot be used by others, and even has Celestine become her friend. Kaoru immediately sells her healing potion in the Barony of Runier, where she first visits, but for some reason she can’t sell it…
The anime is an adaptation of the manga “I Shall Survive Using Potions” which is an original work of creator FUNA. “So far I have written three works… all of which have been made into anime… As a novelist, I’m overwhelmed with emotion.
