The previously announced I Want to Escape From Princess Lessons anime will premiere in 2025, as announced via the anime’s official website and X account. Studio EMT Squared (Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear, Beast Tamer, Train to the End of the World) will be animating the series.
Shinobu Tagashira will serve as both the director and character designer of the series while Tomoko Kanemaki is doing the series composition. The main cast include Haruka Shiraishi and Jun Fukuyama voicing the main characters Leticia and Prince Clarke respectively.
The I Want to Escape From Princess Lessons anime, first announced in November 2023, is based on a light novel series written by Izumi Sawano and illustrated by Miru Yumesaki. It was first published in the Shosetsuka ni Naro website from August 2018 to May 2019 before it was serialized by Shufu to Seikatsu Sha from April 2019 to March 2020 under its PASH! Books imprint. A manga adaptation with illustrations by Uri Sugata has been serialized by PASH UP! since March 2020.
J-Novel Club licenses the light novel for North America and describes the plot of I Want to Escape from Princess Lessons:
