The Lulu Felice x NANA wedding dress collaboration continues KURAUDIA’s legacy of working with the biggest fiction titles. They were among several to collaborate with Disney’s latest animated feature film, Wish, alongside Spy x Family. Wish featured in what was KURAUDIA’s 9th partnership with Disney.

Yazawa’s NANA is among the best-selling manga in history with over 50 million copies in circulation worldwide. The series ended One Piece‘s 5-year-long streak for best-selling manga of the year in 2005. First published in Shueisha’s Cookie magazine since May 2000, NANA has been on hiatus since 2009, leaving fans patiently awaiting its return. The manga series is praised for its mature themes and gripping drama. A new illustration by Yazawa, commemorating the wedding line, is below:

VIZ licenses NANA in North America and describes the series:
Nana Komatsu is a young woman who’s endured an unending string of boyfriend problems. Moving to Tokyo, she’s hoping to take control of her life and put all those messy misadventures behind her. She’s looking for love and she’s hoping to find it in the big city. Nana Osaki, on the other hand, is cool, confident and focused. She swaggers into town and proceeds to kick down the doors to Tokyo’s underground punk scene. She’s got a dream and won’t give up until she becomes Japan’s No. 1 rock’n’roll superstar.

This is the story of two 20-year-old women who share the same name. Even though they come from completely different backgrounds, they somehow meet and become best friends. The world of Nana is a world exploding with sex, music, fashion, gossip and all-night parties.
