Kyo Kaneko Latest Nijisanji Talent to Graduate This Year

Kyo Kaneko, a male VTuber talent belonging to Nijisanji English’s “ILUNA” wave is the latest talent to graduate from the agency, according from an announcement from the agency’s official X (Twitter) account. His graduation is set to happen on February 17.

In a statement from Nijisanji, they recognized Kyo Kaneko’s legacy in the agency, and that his unit “ILUNA” will pursue their activities with the remaining talents Maria Marionette, Aster Arcadia, Aia Amare, Ren Zotto, and Scarle Yonaguni. “ILUNA” debuted in July 2022 as the sixth wave from Nijisanji English.

As a member of ILUNA, Kyo debuted in July 2022 and he attracted and entertained many fans with his unique humor, wit and creativity. We sincerely appreciate his hard work and have the utmost respect for his achievements in NIJISANJI EN. We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.

Statement from Nijisanji

Following his graduation from the agency on February 17, his YouTube membership will be stopped immediately after his graduation stream and the sale of merchandise and voice contents will be stopped gradually. They will be accepting fan letters for Kyo Kaneko until March 17.

As of this writing, Kyo Kaneko has over 400,000 YouTube subscribers, over 500,00 Twitter followers, and over 30,000 Twitch followers. He is the second Nijisanji talent to graduate this year after Pomu Rainpuff, who graduated on January 20. Their graduation follows a slew of graduations on the Nijisanji English side, most notably with Nina Kosaka and Mysta RiasZaion Lanza was terminated over multiple offenses.

Meanwhile, the agency’s former Indonesian unit also dealt with graduations with Xia Ekavira, Mika Melatika, Riksa Dhirendra, ZEA Cornelia, Taka Radjiman, Siska Leontyne, Amicia Michella, Azura Cecillia, Nara Haramaung, Reza Avanluna and Hyona Eliatora all having graduated from VTubing activities. The popular Japanese talent Mirei Gundo also graduated in June 2023 after she was suspended over a supposed offensive tweet to baseball fans.
