I’m in Love with the Villainess anime revealed the preview images for episode 2. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime and the 2nd episode premieres on Monday, October 9. Check out the preview images:
Studio Platinum Vision is animating the series while Hideaki Oba serves as director. Ayumu Hisao is writing the script, Yoko Sato is doing the character designs, and Noriyuki Asakura is composing the music. The main characters Rae Taylor and Claire François are singing both the opening and ending theme songs titled “Raise Y/Our Hands!!” and “Optimum Combination (O.C.)” respectively. Yu Serizawa voices Rae Taylor while Karin Nanami plays the role of Claire François.
I’m in Love With the Villainess anime adaptation is based on the light novel series written by Inori with illustrations provided by Hanagata. It was originally published on Shosetsuka ni Naro in January 2018 and Ichijinsha acquired it at a later date with a total of five volumes. A manga adaptation by Anoshimo was launched in June 2020 and currently has 6 volumes in circulation with the 7th volume to be released on October 18. Seven Seas Entertainment is publishing the light novel in English.

The world turns upside down when a corporate drone wakes up as Rae Taylor, the heroine in her favorite otome game, Revolution. Rae is elated at the opportunity to court Claire François, the game’s villainess and the object of her affection. Armed with her knowledge of the game and events to come, Rae sets out to make Claire fall for her. But how will the villainess take Rae’s romantic advances?
