In Another World with My Smartphone: Fantasia Connect New Game Opens Pre-Registration

CTW has opened pre-registration for In Another World with My Smartphone: Fantasia Connect, a new idle RPG based on the In Another World with My Smartphone 2 anime. The title will be released on the G123 platform and playable directly in web browsers on smartphones, PCs, and tablets without installation.

The game will follow Toya Mochizuki and the heroines from the anime as players explore the world of the series, being able to summon allies and battle enemies. The gameplay centers on Toya’s all-purpose smartphone, which is used to recruit heroines and build a party. The combat is designed as a tap-based idle RPG system, with players able to train characters and strengthen bonds with them.

The characters include:

Toya Mochizuki

• A boy reborn in another world due to God’s mistake. Now he has limitless all-element & non-elemental magic. He uses his smartphone as well as magic to overcome various challenges. Generally kind and polite, he shows no mercy when the people he cares for are in danger.

Yumina Urnea Belfast

• Princess of the Kingdom of Belfast. Her “Mystic Eyes” can see one’s true nature. Polite and well-mannered as a proper princess should be, but can also be bold, barging into Touya’s life to become his first bride.

Sushie Urnea Ortlinde

• Daughter of the Duke of Ortlinde and Yumina’s cousin. Cheerful and curious, she was rescued from lizardmen by Touya on her way back from her grandmother’s estate. The youngest of the group, she doesn’t live with them but is fond of Touya.

Pre-registration is available through multiple methods, including WhatsApp registration, following the official X account, or signing up through the official website. If the campaign reaches 100,000 sign-ups, all players will receive the SSR character “Goddess of Love” when the game officially launches.

In Another World with My Smartphone is a light novel series written by Patora Fuyuhara and illustrated by Eiji Usatsuka. The story first appeared on the user-generated publishing site Shosetsuka ni Naro in 2013 before being acquired by Hobby Japan for print release.

A manga adaptation by Soto began serialization in Comp Ace in 2016, while an anime adaptation aired its first season from July to September 2017. A second season produced by J.C.Staff aired from April to June 2023.
