Just about 48 hours since announcing her departure from VShojo, VTuber Ironmouse’s fundraiser has now raised over $1,000,000 USD for the Immune Deficiency Foundation. She had cited unresolved financial disputes and allegations of unpaid charity funds, claiming that VShojo failed to pay more than $500,000 raised for the Immune Deficiency Foundation (IDF) during her 2024 subathon.

Her fundraiser has now raised twice the amount that is owed by VShojo, and 100 times its original $10,000 USD goal. You can still donate on Tiltify.

What Is the Immune Deficiency Foundation?

The Immune Deficiency Foundation (IDF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by primary immunodeficiencies (PI), a group of over 550 rare, chronic conditions that impair the immune system’s ability to fight infections. In the United States alone, an estimated 500,000 people live with a PI, yet 70% to 90% remain undiagnosed, often facing an average delay of 9 to 15 years before receiving an accurate diagnosis.

While there is currently no cure for PI, IDF connects patients with lifesaving treatments that can significantly improve quality of life and long-term health outcomes. Through its programs, the foundation aims to educate, empower, and build a supportive community for those affected, while raising awareness of the broader challenges faced by the immunocompromised population, approximately 14 million Americans under the age of 65. By promoting early detection, appropriate care, and patient advocacy, IDF helps individuals with PI and their families live longer, stronger, and healthier lives.

Jorey Berry, President & CEO of the Immune Deficiency Foundation, released a statement, where she thanked Ironmouse and the entire VTuber community for the unexpected act of support.

Ironmouse ended her initial video by saying she was an independent VTuber now, and that any earnings from the video would also be forwarded to the IDF. You can watch the full video below.
