Jump Festa 2025: All Announcements and Highlights (UPDATED)

Jump Festa ’25 is officially done! Over this weekend, we had the chance the enjoy programs and announcements on four different stages: the traditional Red, Blue, Jump Studio Stage, and a 10th Anniversary Shonen Jump Stage. Right off the bat, Chiaki Kobayashi (Hell’s Paradise, BLEACH), Soma Saito (Rurouni Kenshin), and Yuma Uchida (Jujutsu Kaisen) canceled their appearances at their respective stages due to flu, but their respective co-stars did their best to make up for their absence. The weekend was filled with many new announcements, so let’s take a look at what each stage brought us!

Jujutsu Kaisen

Jujutsu Kaisen fans were hoping for information on the previously announced Culling Game anime and their expectations were fulfilled as teaser visual for the sequel was announced. The Hidden Inventory/Premature Death recap movie also got an update in the form of a visual and a May 30, 2025 premiere date. The recently-ended Jujutsu Kaisen manga is getting a new 16-page epilogue.

Red Cat Ramen

The adorable kitten and Kenjiro Tsuda are returning for the second season of the Red Cat Ramen anime! A celebratory illustration was shared during a stage attended by the cast.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba

Natsuki Hanae, Hiro Shimono, and Yoshitsugu Matsuoka were part of the Demon Slayer stage at the Jump Festa ’25. There were no major announcements regarding the anime, but the Swordsmith Village arc stage drama revealed character visuals:

Oblivion Battery

Oblivion Battery staged ended with no major announcement. The second season of the TV anime was previously announced. Studio MAPPA is animating.

Rurouni Kenshin

Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Disturbance revealed a new visual and trailer featuring the opening theme song “Burn” by yama and WurtS. The season continues on January 9, 2025.

Me & Roboco

The upcoming Me & Roboco movie revealed that Mayumi Tanaka is joining the cast as a Luffy-inspired Roboco. A trailer and visual introducing the character were revealed.

2.5 Dimension Seduction

The second season of the 2.5 Dimensional Seduction was announced a few days ago. Junya Enoki, Kaori Maeda, and Akari Kito were present at the event that did not bring any new information regarding the sequel.

Witch Watch

The previously announced Witch Watch anime revealed a trailer while introducing new cast members. More info to come. The anime will be broadcast in two consecutive cours starting in April 2025. The new cast members include:

  • Mikako Komatsu as Yuri Makuwa
  • Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Tenryu Kiyomiya
  • Konomi Kohara as Kukumi Ureshino
  • Rie Takahashi as Kara Minami

Undead Unluck

Undead Unluck stage had Yuichi Nakamura and Moe Kahara chatting about the series and the upcoming special, which is slated to premiere in late 2025. The special will feature an original story and introduce a new UMA, “Balance.” Original author, Yoshifumi Totsuka, is creating the story.

The Prince of Tennis II

The Prince of Tennis II, or New Prince of Tennis as it is known in Japan, announced that it will hold its “Tenipuri Cheer” event for the first time in almost two years. The event is taking place on September 20, 2025. The final episode of the currently ongoing anime airs on December 25.

Hell’s Paradise

Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku anime revealed a trailer and January 2026 premiere date for the upcoming Season 2. Studio MAPPA is animating.

Sakamoto Days

The upcoming Sakamoto Days anime revealed a new trailer, featuring the ending theme song “Fuutsu” by Conton Candy. The additional cast includes Hiroki Yasumoto as Hyo, Hochu Otsuka as Takamura, and Daisuke Namikawa as X/Slur.

The anime will have a double-episode premiere on Netflix in Japan, meaning that the weekly releases overseas will be delayed by a week, but in line with Japanese TV broadcasts.

Dr. STONE

Dr. Stone: Science Future recently revealed a new trailer, which was shown off to the audience at the Jump Studio Stage. The final season of the anime will run for three cours.

Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc.

Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc. anime sequel was announced once again at the Jump Festa ’25. No new information was revealed.

Gintama

Gintama: Ginpachi-Sensei anime revealed a trailer ahead of the October 2025 premiere date. As previously announced, Bandai Namco Pictures is animating.

Hideaki Sorachi also drew a crossover illustration featuring Sakata in Sakamoto’s (Sakamoto Days) outfit.

SPY x FAMILY

SPY x FAMILY stage once again featured the main cast: the Forgers. The stage presented Special Mission 5: look back on the past five years of the manga, which began serialization in 2019. It was announced that the SPY x FAMILY returns in October of 2025:

Ron Kamonohashi: Deranged Detective

Ron Kamonohashi: Deranged Detective stage featured a quiz and hints of the upcoming Season 2 finale, slated to air on December 30. Yohei Azakami, Junya Enoki, Taku Yashiro, and Yoshitsugu Matsuoka were part of the stage.

DAN DA DAN

DAN DA DAN had already announced its sequel and the cast gathered to look back on the highlights of the first season. The second season is scheduled to air in July 2025. A teaser trailer for the second season was revealed, along with an announcement for a pop-up shop.

Dragon Ball

The cast of Dragon Ball DAIMA, led by Masako Nozawa, came together to share behind-the-scenes stories. A new box set for the 40th anniversary of Dragon Ball was also shown off.

My Hero Academia

My Hero Academia revealed a Fall 2025 release date for Season 8 (Final Season). The panel was attended by Daiki Yamashita (Deku), Nobuhiko Okamoto (Bakugo), Yuki Kaji (Shoto), and Kenta Miyake (All Might). In the end, a TV anime adaptation was announced for My Hero Academia: Vigilantes spin-off manga.

BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War – The conflict revealed preview images and synopsis for the upcoming one-hour finale special.

‘Tis Time for “Torture,” Princess

Tamura Mutsumi has joined the voice cast of ‘Tis Time for “Torture,” Princess Season 2 as Sakura Heartlock.

Masuda Kosuke Gekijo: Gag Manga Biyori

Masuda Kosuke Gekijo: Gag Manga Biyori stage focused on the upcoming, fifth anime from the Gag Manga Biyori series, announced earlier this month. A trailer was shared:

Chainsaw Man

The panel featuring the main case began on the Super Stage. Kikunosuke Toya (Denji), Shogo Sakata (Aki), Fairouz Ai (Power), and Maaya Uchida (Angel Devil). The stage revealed a teaser trailer for the upcoming Chainsaw Man: The Reze Arc movie, which is scheduled to premiere in 2025. It was all very “waku waku,” as Sakata described it.

Tatsuki Fujimoto’s message was also shared. The author asks the fans to continue supporting the team that is working hard.

Aharen-san wa Hakarenai

Aharen-san wa Hakarenai revealed April 2025 for the upcoming second season and welcomed Nao Toyama to the cast. Inori Minase and Takuma Terashima attended the event.

You and I Are Polar Opposites

You and I Are Polar Opposites stage focused on anime promotion, upcoming events, and the new manga volume.

Marriagetoxin and Kindergarten Wars

Marriagetoxin revealed a cover for the latest volume of the manga. Author Joumyaku attended the event.

Kindergarten Wars author, You Chiba, attended the Jump Festa ’25 and discussed the manga.

Haikyu!!

Haikyu!! stage is starting. Yuki Kaji, Ayumu Murase, and Kaito Ishikawa did a recap of the highlights from the anime so far. Haikyu!! Fun Park (theme park) project was announced for June 2025 with a visual by Haruichi Furudate:

The Elusive Samurai

The Elusive Samurai stage showcased the Vol. 5 Blu-ray/DVD cover. The volume is slated for January 29, 2025 release date. The second season of the anime is in the works.

Blue Exorcist

Kana Hanazawa, Nobuhiko Okamoto, Jun Fukuyama, and Hiroshi Kamiya are part of the Blue Exorcist Jump Festa ’25 stage. The new arc of the anime begins in January. The trailer, hinting at big reveals, is now out.

The AlternaVvelt game showed off updates, including the character lineup. The game releases in the first half of 2025.

Oshi no Ko

While fans were hoping for news on the third season, Oshi no Ko opted to just announce a “Fan Appreciation” event, that is scheduled for February.

Blue Box

The Blue Box anime revealed a key visual and trailer for the continuation of the first season this January. The anime is streaming on Netflix. Kana Ichinose is joining the cast as Ayame.

Akane-banashi

The audience got to enjoy another rakugo performance by Keiki Hayashiya, who is also an advisor for the manga. Author and artist, Yuki Suenaga and Takamasa Moue, both appeared.

Kaiju No. 8

The previously announced second season of the Kaiju No. 8 anime is scheduled for July 2025, as announced with a teaser visual.

Kaiju No. 8 revealed a new trailer for the upcoming recap movie that also features Hoshina’s Day Off special. One Republic is returning to perform the ending theme song for the movie.

World Trigger

Tomo Muranaka, Yuki Kaji, Nao Tamura, and Megumi Han gathered at the World Trigger Jump Festa ’25 stage. They did a live reading session. B-Rank Wars arc stage play is coming to Tokyo and Osaka in April/May 2025. Tickets go on sale on January 4, 2025.

Moriarty the Patriot Musical

Moriarty The Patriot Musical actors Shogo Suzuki (William James Moriarty) and Ryo Hirano (Sherlock Holmes) came together with Tadasuke (composer, pianist) and violinist Shuga Hayashi to discuss yesterday’s announcement of a new stage play in the series. Moriarty the Patriot: A Scandal in British Empire Reprise will be performed in Tokyo and Kyoto this spring.

Chained Soldier

Chained Soldier stage featured Yuya Hirose, Akari Kito, and Maaya Uchida who did a live reading, discussed the series, and introduced Ren Yamashiro (Kana Hanazawa). A teaser trailer for the second season of the Chained Solider TV anime, which will be animated by Passione, was shown and an official character design for Ren was revealed:

Mission: Yozakura Family

Reiji Kawashima, Kaede Hondo, and Yoshitsugu Matsuoka discussed the Mission: Yozakura Family at the Jump Festa ’25 stage. Season 2 of the anime is coming in 2026, as announced with a new teaser visual. To complete the stage, fripSide and Yoshino Nanjo performed the opening of the second cour “Secret Operation.” This was the last of the day for Jump Super Stage.

ONE PIECE

ONE PIECE previously announced that the new voice actor for Franky would be revealed at the Super Stage. Kazuki Yao passed the torch to his colleague, Subaru Kimura. The cast shared a making-of video for the new illustration (out tomorrow in the 4-5 issue of Weekly Shonen Jump). The stage ended with the cast performing “Family.” After the performance, a visual and trailer for the continuation of the ONE PIECE anime were revealed.
