Kagurabachi released Volume 5 today in Japan, and it was accompanied with a special trailer and the news of the series exceeding 1.3 million circulating copies. The series celebrated 1 million copies and a full reprint earlier this year, and it was also reported to be getting an anime adaptation by Cygames Pictures.

Kagurabachi by Takeru Hokazono has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since September 2023, with five volumes released as of today, December 4, 2024. The manga won the Next Manga Award 2024 in the Print Category. VIZ Media licensed it in English, describing the story:
