The preview for episode 4 of Kaguya-sama: Love is War – Ultra Romantic, the series’ third season has been revealed. The episode will air on Friday, April 29.
Kaguya-sama’s official website describes the plot of episode 4 as follows:
After the second semester’s final exam, a sleepover party was planned at Kaguya’s house, but Shirogane and his friends were unable to make it and Fujiwara was the only participant. While Kaguya was depressed, Fujiwara was in a state of excitement, not realizing that the handsome butler, Hasaaka-kun, is Hayasaka dressed as a man. At the pajama party at night, they talked about their love, and Kaguya, who had not been sleeping well, was suddenly in a mysterious state of tension. In the heat of the moment, she calls Shirogane and asks him an outrageous question.
After 2 and a half seasons of mind games will Kaguya finally confess to Shirogane in episode 4? It’s not likely, given how much this show loves to tease its viewers. Nevertheless, a sleep-deprived Kaguya, egged-on by the eager Fujiwara sounds like a good setup for some kind of romantic progression at least.

You can watch episode 4 of Kaguya-sama: Love is War – Ultra Romantic on Crunchyroll. The series’ previous episode, titled “Nagisa Kashiwagi Wants to Kill / Maki Shijo Wants to Take Action / Miyuki Shirogane Wants to Be Believed” is described by Crunchyroll as follows:
Shirogane accidentally steps on Maki Shijo, a female student who had collapsed on campus, and takes care of her in the student council room. Apparently, she has suffered from the sorrows of love. When Maki discusses her situation with him, her expression changes from high-spirited, to anxious, to explosively angry, to tearful. After witnessing such an intense range of human emotion, for some reason Shirogane was struck by a strong sense of déjà vu. What on earth was this feeling?
