Classroom of the Elite Season 2 visual has been updated once again, and this time with a male character, Kakeru Ryuen. Arisu Sakayanagi joined her classmates last week. Lerche is animating the highly anticipated sequel.
The official twitter account describes the character as: He rules over Class C by terror and has a bad side, conducting attacks against other classes with no hesitation. Since the disserted island test, he has been interested in Suzune Horikita.
TV anime Classroom of the Elite was broadcasted from July to September 2019 with 12 episodes. The sequel, Season 2 is set for July 2022, and Season 3 is slated for 2023. Both of the upcoming anime adaptations were announced back in February 2022. With these seasons, the whole of Year 1 will be animated. You can check a trailer for the upcoming anime project below:
Classroom of the Elite is a light novel series written by Shogo Kinugasa and illustrated by Shunsaku Tomose, published by Kadokawa under the light novel brand MF Bunko J. Volume 1 was released in May 2015 and concluded the series’ Year 1 with Volume 11.5 in September 2019. The series’ Year 2 released the first volume in January 2020, and the latest Volume 7 is slated to release in June 2022. Both Year 1 and Year 2 have manga adaptations, Year 1 drawn by Kawaisonako, and Year 2 by Shia Sasane.
Seven Seas Entertainment has been publishing both the original light novel and the manga in English and introduces the plot as:
