Kaya-chan Isn’t Scary anime unveiled a new trailer along with additional cast members, theme songs, and a January 11 premiere date. Isekaijoucho performs the opening theme song “Maboroshi no Yukue” while SAK & TAO perform the ending theme song “Playmour feat. Kaya-chan.”
The voice cast includes:

- Maaya Uchida as Chie-sensei
- Yuki Kaji as Namu
- Fukushi Ochiai as Mobuo
- Azusa Tadokoro as Akira-sensei
- Shiori Izawa as Chihiro-sensei

- Mamiko Noto as Kaya Mama (NEW)
- Haruka Tomatsu as Nana (NEW)
- Yoshiko Sakakibara as Mutsu (NEW)
The anime is based on a manga series by Taro Yuri. The staff of the anime is as follows:
