Kengan Ashura Season 2 revealed a key visual along with September 2023 premiere date. The anime will stream exclusively on Netflix. Tatsuhisa Suzuki is returning to voice Ohma.
The anime is based on Kegan Ashura manga written by Yabako Sandrovich and illustrated by Daromeon. The manga ran from 2012 to 2018 in Shogakukan’s Ura Sunday magazine. A sequel, titled Kengan Omega, from the same author/artist duo started in 2019.
An anime adaptation by LARX Entertainment began streaming on Netflix in 2019. It was directed by Seiji Kishi, with character designs by Kazuaki Morita. Makoto Uezu oversaw the series composition. Yasuharu Takanashi composed the music. The first season was streamed in two parts and each was 12 episodes long. The cast for Kengan Ashura anime includes:
