Kengan Ashura Season 2 revealed a new teaser trailer that features the opening theme song “RED” by SiM. The second season of the anime is coming out on September 21.
MAH wrote the lyrics for “RED,” which will be featured on SiM’s new album PLAYDEAD (out on September 27). The song is now streaming worldwide as a single. SiM previously worked on Attack on Titan Final Season, for which they sang “The Rumbling” and “Under the Tree.”
Netflix is streaming the anime, which is based on a manga written by Yaboko Sandrovich and illustrated by Daromeon, and describes the plot as:
Underground gladiator Tokita Ohma fights on behalf of business mogul Nogi Hideki, who wagers mega-business deals on the outcomes of the brutal matches.
LARX Entertainment is returning to animate the Kengan Ashura Season 2. The staff is also returning: Seiji Kishi is directing, while Makoto Uezu is on the series composition. Kazuaki Morita is credited with character designs. The cast for Kengan Ashura anime includes:
