The upcoming MF Ghost racing anime has revealed new character visuals. The anime is a part of the Initial D universe. Naka Tomohito, who worked on the latest Initial D movies in 2015 and 2016, also serves as the director for the series. Check out the new visuals:
The main cast for the anime includes Yuma Uchida as Kanata Katagiri (Kanata Rivington) and Ayane Sakura as Ren Saionji. Other cast members include:

- Daisuke Namikawa as Daigo Oishi
- Junichiro Suwabe as Kaito Akaba
- Yasunori Matsumoto as Wataru Akiyama

- Mitsuo Iwata as Itsuki Takeuchi
- Kazuki Yao as Koichiro Iketani
- Wataru Takagi as Kenji
Felix FIlms is animating the anime. Besides the director Naka Tomohito, staff members include Ken`ichi Yamashita on the screenplay, and Naoyuki Onda and Chiyoko Sakamoto as chief animation directors. Onda is also credited as a character designer, while Seiko Akashi is the art director, Chiharu Tanaka is the color designer, and Kouji Hayashi is the photography director.
MF Ghost was first announced in January 2022 and then received its first full trailer in May 2022. It is based on the MF Ghost manga, written and illustrated by Shuichi Shigeno (the author of Initial D), who started serializing in Kodansha’s Weekly Young Magazine in September 2017 and currently has over 150 chapters. The story takes place after Initial D and focuses on the future in which electric cars have become an everyday sight. Kanata Rivington returns from England after graduating from a racing school. His goal is to fulfill a certain purpose through racing.
