Kenma Kozume has a new birthday trailer, featuring the character’s most impactful moments from the Haikyu! manga series. Kenma’s birthday is October 16, 1995. In the anime, Kenma is voiced by Yuki Kaji and he will be returning for the upcoming Haikyu: Decisive Battle at the Garbage Dump movie.
Haikyu (stylized as Haikyu!!) anime is based on a manga by Haurichi Furudate. The first season aired in 2014, followed by the sequel which started in the Fall of 2015 and finished during the Winter of 2016, after 25 episodes. Season 3, titled Haikyu!! Karasuno High School vs Shiratorizawa Academy had 10 episodes that aired throughout the Fall of 2016. Haikyu!! Riku vs Kuu OVA serves as its sequel. The latest installment of the anime Haikyuu!! To the Top aired in two cours – first in Winter 2020 and second in Fall 2020. In addition to the TV anime, the franchise also spawned multiple recap movies, OVAs, side stories, and an omake.
The manga was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2012 to 2020. It ended after 405 chapters, which were compiled into 45 volumes. Viz Media licensed it in English and describes the plot as:
