Kikaijikake no Marie was originally published as a one-shot in Hakusensha’s LaLa shojo manga magazine in March 2020, after which it was serialized in the same magazine from June 2020 to June 2023. Its chapters were collected into a total of six compiled volumes. The official website describes the story:
Marie, a former genius martial artist, has a new job as the exclusive maid for Arthur, the heir of a huge conglomerate. However, because Arthur is cold-hearted and extremely misanthropic, Marie pretends to be a robot to work for him!
Although being found out as a human would mean immediate execution, Arthur is exceedingly kind to inanimate objects… Could this lead to an unexpected love route!?
Overflowing love or death!? The ultimate romantic comedy that will make you laugh and swoon!
