KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World Season 3 anime revealed a new trailer with the opening and ending theme songs on Friday. Machico returns to sing the opening “Growing Up” while Aqua (CV: Sora Amamiya), Megumin (CV: Rie Takahashi), and Darkness (CV: Ai Kayano) perform the ending song. Both theme songs can be heard in the latest trailer. The anime premieres on April 10.
Studio Drive is animating the series with Yujiro Abe as director and Makoto Uezu on the series composition. Koichi Kikuta is designing the characters while Masato Koda is composing the music. The series unveiled its first trailer last December and revealed a visual last month. The main cast are also reprising their roles:
- Sora Amamiya as Aqua
- Jun Fukushima as Kazuma Sato
- Rie Takahashi as Megumin
- Ai Kayano as Darkness
KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! (Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!) is a light novel series written by Natsume Akatsuki and illustrated by Kurone Mishima. It was initially published in 2013 and ended in 2020 with 17 volumes. The light novel inspired a TV anime adaptation with the first season aired in 2016 and the second season in 2017. Studio DEEN animated both. A movie by J.C. Staff was released in 2019, while a Megumin spin-off anime titled KonoSuba: An Explosion On This Wonderful World animated by Studio Drive aired in the Spring season and finished on June 21.

After a traffic accident, Kazuma Sato’s disappointingly brief life was supposed to be over, but he wakes up to see a beautiful girl before him. She claims to be a goddess, Aqua, and asks if he would like to go to another world and bring only one thing with him. Kazuma decides to bring the goddess herself, and they are transported to a fantasy world filled with adventure, ruled by a demon king. Now Kazuma only wants to live in peace, but Aqua wants to solve many of this world’s problems, and the demon king will only turn a blind eye for so long…
