Netflix and AEG Presents announced plans for an official KPop Demon Hunters global concert tour, confirming that it will bring elements of the hit animated film to arenas worldwide. Fans can now join an official waitlist ahead of ticket and city announcements later this year.
According to Netflix, the concerts will recreate the “Honmoon” energy seen throughout the film’s performances by the fictional K-pop group HUNTR/X, with the live show designed as an immersive adaptation of the movie’s concert sequences.
Since debuting in June 2025, KPop Demon Hunters has become Netflix’s biggest animated success. The film reportedly surpassed 500 million views globally, while its soundtrack became one of the biggest music releases of 2025. Fictional group HUNTR/X also made history as the first K-pop girl group to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 through the film’s music campaign.
The movie later won two Academy Awards at the 2026 Oscars, including Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song for “Golden.” The track also became the first K-pop song to win Best Song Written for Visual Media at the Grammys.
Directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans, KPop Demon Hunters follows Rumi, Mira, and Zoey, members of the chart-topping girl group Huntr/x. They are K-pop idols by day, while they fight to protect the world from demonic forces by night. Their toughest battle comes when a rival boy band is revealed to be demons in disguise. The voice cast includes Arden Cho, May Hong, Ji-young Yoo, and Ahn Hyo-seop. A sequel film was also announced, while you can watch a trailer for the first one below.
