Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible anime is being produced based on Nene Yukimori’s manga of the same name, which has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump magazine since October 2019. The series released the first compiled volume in February 2020 and the latest, 12th volume in December 2022.
Viz Media licensed the manga for English releases and published the latest, 5th volume on January 3, 2023. The 6th volume’s release is set for March 7, 2023. The official website describes the plot of the debut volume as:
When Kubo sits next to Shiraishi in their first year of high school, Shiraishi’s nonexistent social skills get a boost. Speaking up in class is only the beginning for Shiraishi—soon Kubo forces him to be noticed at school, at the bookstore, and all around town. Shiraishi’s once-lackluster life isn’t so dull anymore!
