Magic Maker: Isekai Mahou no Tsukurikata is a Japanese light novel series written by Kazuki Kaburagi and illustrated by Kururi. It was first serialized in June 2017 on the Shosetsuka ni Narou website. It was acquired by Media Factory in May 2020, with 2 volumes published under their MF Books imprint. There is also a manga adaptation by Tomozo Nishioka which ran from June 2021 to February 2023 and was collected in three volumes by Mag Garden.
The story follows a 30-year old man who had researched magic all his life before getting reincarnated into another world as Shion, a minor noble. He is shocked to learn that the other world doesn’t have magic either, deciding to create it himself.
