Crunchyroll premiered the second season of Masamune-kun’s Revenge earlier this week, simultaneously beginning the English dub alongside the original Japanese audio. You can see what we think about the first episode of Masamune-kun’s Revenge R here.
The English dub cast for Masamune-kun’s Revenge R sees most of the cast from the first season reprise their roles as follows:
- James Grelle as Masamune
- Morgan Lauré as Aki
- Monica Rial as Yoshino
- Megan Shipman as Neko
- Justin Briner as Kojuuro
- Caitlin Glass as Tae
- Ryan Reynolds as Gasou
- Natalie Rose as Kinue
- Skyler Davenport as Chinatsu
- Reshel Mae as Muriel Besson
- Derrick Snow as Franck Besson
The anime was previously scheduled to premiere in the Spring 2023 season but was delayed by Studio SILVER LINK due to production issues caused by COVID-19. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime every Monday at 6:00 a.m. PT, and describes the show as:
“I’ve returned to this town for revenge!” Eight years ago, Makabe Masamune, a weak and chubby boy, was harshly rejected by the beautiful Adagaki Aki. Now, he’s lost a ton of weight, changed his name, and returned as a handsome teenage boy… all to make the “Brutal Princess” Aki fall in love with him so that he can reject her just as harshly as she did.
