Bogus Skill «Fruitmaster» ~About that time I became able to eat unlimited numbers of Skill Fruits (that kill you)~ anime revealed a new trailer ahead of its January 7 premiere date. The anime will be streaming on Crunchyroll as part of their Winter 2025 lineup.
The new trailer features both of the theme songs. The opening is “Bravely Heart” by Aglio Olio e Peperoncino , while the ending is “Sonna Bokurano Bokentan!” by TrySail.
Studio Asahi Production is in charge of the animation, with Ryuichi Kimura as the director. You can see the key visual below.
The main voice cast for the Hazure Skill “Kinomi Master” anime was revealed in the first teaser trailer, while the new members include:

- Ai Kakuma as Hanaboshi
- Katsuhisa Hoki as Torahige
- Takehito Koyasu as Hakamori

Hanyuu writes the original Hazure Skill “Kinomi Master”: Skill no Mi (Tabetara Shinu) wo Mugen ni Taberareru Yо ni Natta Ken ni Tsuite web novel. There is a manga adaptation with art by Air Matsukoto, as well as a light novel adaptation with illustrations by Yasutaka Isekawa.
The story follows Light, a boy who gets the “Fruitmaster” skill from a Skill Fruit in a world where everyone gets a single skill and their entire life depends on it. His friend Lena gets the “Sword Saint” skill and quickly becomes an S-Rank adventurer. While Light’s skill is only seemingly good for farming, one day he eats another Skill Fruit and gains the “Sword Saint” skill himself instead of dying. Now he is headed on a path to becoming the most overpowered MC of all time with as many skills as he can possibly get.
