Gorilla no Kami anime revealed the first teaser trailer ahead of its its April 2025 release date. Studio Kachigarasu (previously Encourage Films) will be animating, with production cooperation from diomedéa.
The main voice cast for the anime consists of:
- Kanna Nakamura as Sophia
- Takeo Otsuka as Louis
- Reiji Kawashima as Isaac
- Takuma Nagatsuka as Eddie

Set in a world where people receive blessings from various animal gods upon turning 16, the story follows the timid countess Sophia Lila, who unexpectedly receives the blessing of the “Gorilla God,” known as the strongest in combat.
Shirohi has been writing the Gorilla no Kami Kara Kago sareta Reijo wa Oritsu Kishidan de Kawaigarareru (The Young Lady Blessed by the Gorilla God Is Adored by the Royal Knights) manga since August 2021, which has released 6 volumes as of December 5, 2024. Kadokawa is publishing it under their FLOS COMIC label.
The anime adaptation was announced on September 24, which is celebrated as the World Gorilla Day.
