MF Ghost Season 2 revealed a new trailer featuring the opening theme song, as well as an October 6 release date. Felix Film is returning to animate the sequel to the ‘successor to Initial D,’ with Naka Tomohito as the director. The anime revealed a teaser visual back in March.
The new trailer features the opening theme song “ROCK ME KISS ME feat. MOTSU” by Yu Serizawa, and you can check it out below.
The first season of MF Ghost aired from October to December 2023 for a total of 12 episodes. The rest of the main staff is also returning, and it includes Ken’ichi Yamashita in charge of the screenplay, Naoyuki Onda and Chiyoko Sakamoto as chief animation directors, Naoyuki Onda as character designer, and Seiko Akashi as the art director. The main voice cast of the anime includes:

MF Ghost is a manga written and illustrated by Shuichi Shigeno, who is also known as the author of Initial D). The story takes place after Initial D and focuses on the future in which electric cars have become an everyday sight. Crunchyroll is streaming the first season of the anime, describing the story:
Japan adopts self-driving electric automobiles and renders most gas engines obsolete by 202X. The fastest cars find new life in the MFG, a racing circuit held on Japanese motorways.
