Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway’s Flash Part 2 of the film series has revealed the first teaser trailer and official title. Titled Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway’s Flash – The Sorcery of Nymph Circe (Kido Senshi Gandamu Senko no Hasawei Kiruke no Majo), the film is scheduled for a Winter 2026 theatrical release in Japan.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway’s Flash is planned to be a movie trilogy based on the novel series by Yoshiyuki Tomino, the creator of the Gundam franchise. The novels were originally published between 1989 and 1990, and are set in the Universal Century timeline, serving as a sequel to Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack.

The second movie was confirmed to be in production in January this year, and you can watch the first trailer below.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway’s Flash Part 2 – First Anime Teaser Trailer

The story follows Hathaway Noa, the son of Bright Noa, as he takes on the identity of Mafty Navue Erin, a terrorist leader fighting against the corrupt Earth Federation. The first movie, Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway’s Flash, was supposed to release in 2020 before a delay due to COVID. It was eventually released in Japan on June 11, 2021. The movie grossed over 2 billion yen domestically and became one of the highest-earning Gundam movies.

Gundam is a Japanese mix-media franchise that focuses on mecha robots, created by SUNRISE and Yoshiyuki Tomino. The franchise officially premiered on April 7, 1979, with the Mobile Suit Gundam anime series. It is celebrated its 45th anniversary last year. In addition to the popular anime series and spin-offs, the franchise also has manga, novels, video games, and, of course, the popular toys.

The latest anime from the franchise is the recent Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX.
