Monogatari Series: Off & Monster Season anime is officially continuing with a brand new episode Wazamonogatari: Karen Ogre. The episode is set to premiere next winter, with studio SHAFT back in charge of the animation production.
The new installment will focus on Karen Araragi, who is now a first-year high school student. Although her karate master acknowledges her strength, Karen is told she must take the next step in her training by undergoing a solitary mountain retreat in the Oga Three Mountains. The new anime was previously announced alongside the Tsugimonogatari novel.

The new season of Monogatari previously ran for 14 episodes from July to October 2024, covering the Orokamonogatari, Nademonogatari, and Wazamonogatari arcs, as well as the Shinobumonogatari arc of the Monster Season.
The main staff will also return for the new episode, including:

The anime is based on the Japanese light novel series written by Nisio Isin and illustrated by Vofan. The novel has been serialized by Kodansha since 2006, with 29 volumes released as of May 2023. Kodansha USA licensed it in English. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime, describing the story:
