Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 3 has announced that the first teaser trailer will be revealed on July 6. The new season was announced after the second one’s finale in June 2024, and this will be the first update since then. The announcement will be made first at Crunchyroll’s industry panel during Anime Expo 2025, with a YouTube release coming worldwide afterwards.
The first season of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation aired over 2 cours during the Winter 2021 and Fall 2021 anime seasons for a total of 23 episodes. The second season ran its first part in the Summer 2023 anime season, before taking a break until this spring. It had a total of 24 episodes. Both seasons were animated by Studio Bind.
The anime is based on a light novel by Rifujin na Magonote with Shirotaka’s illustrations. Seven Seas is publishing the light novel in English, while Crunchyroll streams the anime. Season 3 should begin with Volume 14, for which Seven Seas describes the story:
Nanahoshi, Rudeus, and the rest of their group take a trip to Perugius’s mysterious floating fortress, seeking adventure and a once-in-a-lifetime chance to learn new magic. What they find instead is disaster as one of their number is struck down by a deadly illness. How far will Rudeus go to save a dear friend’s life?
