The My New Boss Is Goofy anime, also known as Atarashi Joshi wa Do Tennen, released the preview and synopsis for episode 8 which will air this Saturday, November 25. Studio A-1 Pictures is animating the series, with Noriyuki Abe as the director. Get a glimpse of episode 8 from the preview images below:
In the previous episode, episode 7, Momose decides to tell Shirosaki about his former boss and the power harassment that he experienced. When Momose returns to his apartment to get a change of clothes, he sees a shadow of a person behind his apartment. Momose starts to think it was his former boss. Fortunately, it was just Shirosaki! On the other hand, the plot of episode 8, as the official website for the My New Boss Is Goofy anime describes it:
Momose and Shirosaki’s next business trip took them to Akita Prefecture, Shirosaki’s hometown. Although Shirosaki was traumatized by being kidnapped by a namahage as a child, he was able to complete the research without incident. After that, Shirosaki received a call from his grandmother saying she had something she wanted to show him, Momose and Shirosaki then decided to head to Shirosaki’s parents’ house. As they reminisce over old photo albums at the grandmother’s suggestion, the grandmother reveals something completely unexpected to Shirosaki.

- Hiro Shimono as Hakuto
- Jun Fukuyama as Satoshi Kinjo
Ayako Kono is the assistant director of the series, with Masahiro Yokotani on the series composition. Takahiro Yasuda is the character designer and the chief animation director. Masato Nakayama is in charge of the music and Jin Aketagawa is the sound director.
