My Senpai Is Annoying Manga Officially Ends

Shiro Manta’s My Senpai Is Annoying romantic comedy manga has officially ended following the release of the 236th chapter. In a tweet by the author, he thanked everyone who have supported the manga for seven years. He also admitted that he felt lonely after after hearing how fans felt grateful for his work, adding that the lives of the characters will continue forever.

While it has been indicated that the series will end with the 13th volume, no details about the final volume’s cover have been released as of this writing. The latest volume (volume 12) was released in May this year, with the cover below:

The My Senpai Is Annoying manga was serialized online via Ichijinsha’s Comic POOL digital manga magazine from 2017. Seven Seas Entertainment has licensed the manga in English, describing the plot as:
Igarashi is a hardworking young office lady. Takeda, the senpai above her at work, annoys her constantly–and yet she finds herself growing closer to him. Every day is filled with comic mishaps and romantic moments as Igarashi tries to balance work, life, and love. This full-color manga–which started its life as a webcomic–is sure to charm audiences of workplace comedies like Aggretsuko and The Office!

An anime series by Doga Kobo aired from October to December 2021 for 12 episodes. Ryota Itoh directed the series, while Yoshimi Narita was in charge of series composition. Jikou Abe did the character designs, with Hiroaki Tsutsumi on the music. The cast for the anime included:
