The crossover between Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) and Naruto is coming to an end, and the official cover for the fourth and final issue has been revealed. The cover was illustrated by Jorge Jiménez, with Alex Sanchez handling the coloring.
The artwork showcases Naruto Uzumaki and the four Turtles—Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael—charging into battle against Shredder.
Jiménez, known for his work on Batman and Superman, shared his excitement about working on the project:
“RASENGAN!!! Friends! Finally, here you have the last TMNT X Naruto cover! (#04). It has really been an incredible experience for me to have the opportunity to make this covers collection! This time with Alex Sanchez’s amazing colors! 🙌🔥🔥”
The fourth and final issue is set for release on May 15, 2025, concluding the crossover between the two ninja franchises.
What is TMNT x Naruto?
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Naruto crossover is a four-issue comic book mini-series published by IDW Publishing and Viz Media. It brings together the mutant ninja brothers from New York City and the shinobi of the Hidden Leaf for an original adventure that blends elements from both franchises.
The comic is written by Caleb Goellner (Sonic the Hedgehog), with interior artwork by Hendry Prasetya (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers).
Storyline: How Do Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Naruto Cross Paths?
The crossover began in July 2024. The story kicks off when April O’Neil, the ninja turtles’ friend, travels to the Hidden Leaf Village for a secret meeting with Tsunade, the Fifth Hokage. However, their meeting is disrupted by the Foot Clan, TMNT’s enemies.
Sensing the danger, Naruto’s Team 7 (Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and Kakashi) get involved. But when an even greater threat emerges, the Turtles and Konoha’s ninjas must join forces.
