Netflix recently announced a collaboration with LEGO, where it confirmed the release date of ONE PIECE Season 2 live-action for later in 2025. While they are yet to reveal a trailer for the sequel, they’ve previously shared several teasers and new cast.

The first look at Chopper and Drum Island was revealed in September, along with a bunch of other behind-the-scenes teasers. At the end of the set tour, Jeff Ward even said the year of the ONE PIECE Season 2 live-action premiere, and it seemed obvious that he said 2025 despite the censoring.

A late 2025 release could mean December and the Christmas season, which the ONE PIECE fans know fits the Drum Island theme pretty nicely. Chopper’s birthday is also on December 24, which is celebrated as Christmas Eve.

The live-action series has Matt Owens (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Luke Cage) and Steven Maeda (The X-Files, CSI: Miami, Lost) serving as writers, executive producers, and showrunners. The creator, Eiichiro Oda, is also among the show’s executive producers and consistently confirms he is deeply involved. The new cast for Season 2 includes:
