The new Devil May Cry anime revealed the opening video featuring a song by Limp Bizkit along with an April 3, 2025 Netflix premiere date. The animated series is a collaboration between Capcom, Studio Mir & Adi Shankar. It was announced last September. Johnny Yong Bosch is voicing Dante.

Devil May Cry – Opening Video Featuring “Rollin'” by Limp Bizkit | Premieres April 3 on Netflix

The project was originally announced back in 2018, though it took some time for the first update. The first teaser trailer arrived in September last year.

Devil May Cry is a popular action-adventure game franchise created by Hideki Kamiya. It is primarily developed and published by Capcom. The series centers follows the demon hunter Dante and his efforts to stop various demon invasions of Earth. The game has 6 entries, with several remasters and collections. The official synopsis:
Meet Dante: a half-human, half-demon, hunter for hire and carefree owner of the Devil May Cry agency. A mysterious woman named Trish approaches him one day with news of the king of the underworld making a grand return from banishment to wreak havoc on the world. Brandishing his father’s sword Force Edge and trusty guns Ebony & Ivory, he sets out to defeat the demon king, the one responsible for the death of his family.

The series already has one animated adaptation by studio MADHOUSE, which premiered in June 2007. It has 12 episodes and focuses on Dante’s daily life as a demon hunter.
