Kaguya-sama: Love Is War announced a new anime project earlier today. It is not clear at this time what the project is and whether it will be a sequel to the existing anime by A-1 Pictures. Check out the official announcement which only states a new production is in the works:
The third season of Kaguya-sama: Love Is War anime ended earlier today after a special double episode. The season began airing in April of this year and focused on the continuation of Kaguya and Shirogane’s love story. The main cast includes:

- Aoi Koga as Kaguya Shinomiya
- Makoto Furukawa as Miyuki Shirogane
- Konomi Kohara as Chika Fujiwara
- Ryota Suzuki as Yu Ishigami
- Yumiri Hanamori as Ai Hayasaka
- Miyu Tomita as Miko Iino
- Rina Hidaka as Kobachi Osaragi
The anime is based Aka Akasaka’s manga of the same name. Viz Media licensed the manga and describes the plot as:
As leaders of their prestigious academy’s student council, Kaguya and Miyuki are the elite of the elite! But it’s lonely at the top… Luckily for them, they’ve fallen in love! There’s just one problem—they both have too much pride to admit it. And so begins the daily scheming to get the object of their affection to confess their romantic feelings first…
