Both the ONE PIECE anime and manga will be on break this week, and so both episode 1074 and chapter 1091 will release on September 3 instead. The anime is getting close to the end of the Wano arc, with Luffy in the final stage of his fight against the Yonko Kaido after awakening his fruit and achieving Gear 5. This week’s episode will be the 3rd Bartolomeo recap episode titled “Luffy-senpai Support Project! Barto’s Secret Room3!” The preview for it has been released:
This means that before we get to the new episode and chapter, we will have the chance to watch the ONE PIECE live-action series. It is set to release all 8 episodes on August 31, and it will be streaming exclusively on Netflix. The live-action series has Matt Owens (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Luke Cage) and Steven Maeda (The X-Files, CSI: Miami, Lost) serving as writers, executive producers, and showrunners. Eiichiro Oda is also among the show’s executive producers, and has praised the production numerous times.

As written previously, both the episode 1074 of the ONE PIECE anime and chapter 1091 of the manga will be released after a 1-week break on September 3.
