One Piece Live-Action Arrives to Netflix Tomorrow, Reveals Final Trailer

The ONE PIECE live-action series has revealed the final trailer ahead of releasing all 8 episodes tomorrow on Netflix. Eiichiro Oda has been involved the production and has hyped the series for a while, and we will finally be able to watch it on August 31. Watch the final trailer for the series:

ONE PIECE Live-Action Series – Final Trailer

The live-action series has Matt Owens (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Luke Cage) and Steven Maeda (The X-Files, CSI: Miami, Lost) serving as writers, executive producers, and showrunners. Eiichiro Oda is also among the show’s executive producers. The main cast for the series includes:

  • Inaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy
  • Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro
  • Emily Rudd as Nami
  • Taz Skylar as Sanji
  • Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp

The series also recently revealed the Japanese dub trailer, with most of the anime cast reprising their roles, including Mayumi Tanaka (Luffy), Kazuya Nakai (Zoro), Hiroaki Hirata (Sanji), Akemi Okamura (Nami) and Kappei Yamaguchi (Usopp).

The ONE PIECE manga is written and drawn by Eiichiro Oda. It currently has 1090 chapters, while the anime adaptation is at 1073 episodes. VIZ Media licensed the manga in English, and Crunchyroll streams the anime. They describe the story:
