The ONE PIECE Netflix live-action series is now days away before releasing on Netflix, and the Japanese dub version of the trailer has been released along with a new letter from Eiichiro Oda. The original voice actors for the Straw Hat Pirates can be heard in the trailer, including Mayumi Tanaka (Luffy), Kazuya Nakai (Zoro), Hiroaki Hirata (Sanji), Akemi Okamura (Nami) and Kappei Yamaguchi (Usopp). A notable difference is Arlong, who seems to be voiced by Hiroki Tochi (Estarossa in The Seven Deadly Sins), while he was voiced by Jurota Kosugi in the anime.
The rest of the reprising Japanese anime cast for the ONE PIECE live-action includes:

- Mika Doi as Coby
- Shigeru Chiba as Buggy
- Mariko Kouda as Kaya
- Banjo Ginga as Captain Morgan
- Shuichi Ikeda as Shanks
- Koichi Nagano as Helmeppo
- Masane Tsukayama as Gold Roger
- Yoko Matsuoka as Alvida
- Hirohiko Kakegawa as Dracule Mihawk
- Masane Tsukayama as Gold Roger (he’s been the voice of Roger since episode 849)
Eiichiro Oda also sent a new message to share excitement for the upcoming show.
Each of the straw hats appearing in the series (Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Sanji, Usopp) also got their individual posters. The series has Matt Owens (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Luke Cage) and Steven Maeda (The X-Files, CSI: Miami, Lost) serving as writers, executive producers, and showrunners. The main cast for the series includes:
- Inaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy
- Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro
- Emily Rudd as Nami
- Taz Skylar as Sanji
- Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp
The ONE PIECE manga is written and drawn by Eiichiro Oda. It currently has 1090 chapters, while the anime adaptation is at 1073 episodes. As the Wano arc is reaching its climax in the anime, this week will have a recap episode. VIZ Media licensed the manga in English, and Crunchyroll streams the anime. They describe the story:
