One Piece Teases Familiar Faces as Kuma’s Backstory Continues in Episode 1134 Preview

ONE PIECE revealed the preview for Episode 1134, which will see the anime returning from its break with a new episode on June 29. The title of the episode will be “Cruel Fate – Kuma’s Decision as a Father” and it show a continuation of Kuma’s backstory, featuring appearances from Dracule Mihawk, Boa Hancock, Ace, and X-Drake.

The episode will premiere on June 29, and you can watch the preview below (it will also be available on Crunchyroll at the end of the latest special episode).

The ONE PIECE manga by Eiichiro Oda first began in July 1997, and the series exceeded 500 million circulating copies worldwide in August 2022. It also celebrated the 25th anniversary in 2022, while the anime adaptation started in October 1999 and is also still going strong. The manga currently has 1152 chapters, with Chapter 1153 set to release on June 29.
