Dodger Stadium hosted the ONE PIECE Night event on Wednesday as part of the Los Angeles Dodgers’ home game against the Chicago White Sox. Organized in collaboration with Toei Animation, the promotion featured co-branded merchandise, themed stadium elements, and a drone show following the game.

The first 40,000 attendees received Dodgers x ONE PIECE straw hats and a limited-edition card from the One Piece Card Game, featuring artwork by the manga’s legendary creator Eiichiro Oda. Visuals from the franchise were displayed on the stadium’s Dodger Vision screens and surrounding digital boards throughout the evening.

Themed concession items were made available during the game, including branded soft drinks, milkshakes, Icees, and soft serve. Three photo stations featuring One Piece card and event artwork were located in the centerfield plaza and reserve sections.

Actress Emily Rudd, who plays Nami in the Netflix live-action adaptation of ONE PIECE, threw the ceremonial first pitch. In the fourth inning, an interactive “noise meter” featuring ONE PIECE graphics was shown on the video boards, as well as a “make some noise” video featuring Luffy.

The event concluded with a 12-minute drone show above the stadium, featuring coordinated aerial visuals based on characters and symbols from the franchise. Some of them included Sun God Nika silhouette, Luffy in Gear 5, and Thousand-Sunny.

The Dodgers partnership followed several recent ONE PIECE crossover promotions in sports. Previous collaborations include a themed night with the Boston Red Sox on May 3, where a costumed Monkey D. Luffy mascot threw the ceremonial first pitch at Fenway Park, a Game Night event with the Los Angeles Lakers, a collaboration with Germany’s Borussia Dortmund soccer club, and a themed night with the Seattle Mariners.
