At the Kanto Summer Festival, Oshi no Ko Season 3 unveiled a new visual and a trailer featuring a January 2026 premiere and additional cast members. Yuto Takenaka joins the cast as Shun Yoshizumi and Yoji Ueda plays the role of Tetsu Urushibara.

The voice cast of the series includes:
- Takeo Otsuka as Aquamarine Hoshino
- Yurie Igoma as Ruby Hoshino
- Megumi Han as Kana Arima
- Manaka Iwami as Akane Kurokawa
- Rumi Okubo as Mem-cho
- Lynn as Miyako Saito
- Rie Takahashi as Ai Hoshino
Based on the manga by Aka Akasaka (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) and illustrated by Mengo Yokari (Scum’s Wish), studio Doga Kobo animated the first two seasons of the anime series under the direction of Daisuke Hiramaki. Ciao Nekotomi was the assistant director, Kanna Hirayama handled the character designs and Takuri Iga composed the music.
The first season aired in 2023 from April to June with 11 episodes while the second season ran from July to October 2024 with 13 episodes. Both seasons are available to stream in Netflix and the streaming platform describes the plot as follows:
A small-town doctor gets sucked into the ruthless world of show business when he crosses paths with a popular teen idol who holds a secret.
