The upcoming Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World season 2 anime revealed details on the theme songs. They include “Senaka Awase” by AliA as the opening theme and “Para Bellum” by Sizuk as the ending theme. It is also worth noting that Sizuk also sang the series’ image song “Reverse”, which was used for the new season’s teaser trailer last year.
Season 2 of Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World was supposed to be released in 2023 but was delayed to 2024 in order to improve the quality of the series. Studio palette and SILVER LINK are animating the series under the direction of Yuki Inaba. Meanwhile, Kaori Yoshikawa is doing the character designs and Elements Garden is composing the music.
The main cast is returning and includes Yusuke Kobayashi (Iska), Sora Amamiya (Aliceliese Lou Nebulis IX), Nao Shiraki (Mismis Klass), Kaori Ishihara (Nene Alkastone) and Shun’ichi Toki (Jhin Syulargun). The first season aired from October to December 2020 and was animated by SILVER LINK alone.
Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World is based on a light novel series written by Kei Sazane and illustrated by Ao Nekonabe. It started serialization in 2017. Yen Press licensed the light novel and describes the series as:
