Overlord IV (Season 4) revealed two preview videos for the upcoming episode 4, which is set to air on Tuesday, July 26. The two previews are, as always, the “normal” version, narrated by Ainz (Satoshi Hino), and a special version narrated by a character who will have significant importance or screen time in the episode. Last week’s special PV was narrated by Jircniv.
The episode will focus on Ainz, who wants to establish friendly relations with as many countries as possible, with his policies. He does not reveal this idea to Demiurge, Albedo, and others who want to conquer the world, and instead, he decides to act on his own first.
He takes Ainzach’s advice and ends up fighting Re-Estize’s greatest warrior. Meanwhile, Jircniv happens to be nearby and is plotting.
This week’s special trailer was narrated by Baziwood Peshmel (Yoshikazu Nagano) and Nimble Arc Dale Anoch (Jun Kasama)
Naoyuki Ito is directing the Overlord Season 4 (Overlord IV) anime, with Satoshi Tasaki on character designs. Yukie Sugawara is overseeing the series composition and also writing the screenplay.
The Overlord anime series is based on light novels written by Kugane Maruyama and illustrated by so-bin. The first season of the anime adaptation aired in 2015. Season 2 and season 3 both aired during 2018, with studio MADHOUSE animating. Two recap movies by MADHOUSE were also released along the way. A new movie is also in the works, but no additional information is known at this time.
