Overlord Season 4 Gets New Trailer, July 5 Premiere Date

The official Twitter released a new trailer for the Overlord IV (Season 4) anime, along with a July 5 premiere date. The trailer also features the opening and ending theme songs. OxT performs the opening “Hollow Hunger”, while Mayu Maeshima performs the ending “No Man’s Dawn”. Watch the new trailer:

Studio MADHOUSE is returning to animate season 4 of Overlord, with Naoyuki Ito as director. Satoshi Tasaki is the character designer, with Yukie Sugawara as the scriptwriter. The main cast will also return, with Satoshi Hino as Ainz, Yumi Hara as Albedo, Sumire Uesaka as Shalltear, Emiri Kato as Aura Bella Fiora, and Yumi Uchiyama as Mare Bello Fiore.

Kugane Maruyama writes the original light novel, which has been publishing since 2012. The first anime season came out in 2015, with seasons 2 and 3 coming out in 2018. Studio MADHOUSE animated all three, and recap movies that followed. Crunchyroll describes the series:
