Peter Grill and the Philosopher’s Time anime is getting a season 2. The announcement was made along with the release of the manga’s ninth volume. The first season of the show aired in the Summer 2020 anime season and had a total of 12 episodes. There is still no information about the release date of the sequel.

According to the tweet above, Tatsumi (Peter Grill season 1) is coming back to direct Peter Grill and the Philosopher’s Time season 2.

Peter Grill and the Philosopher’s Time is Japanese manga series by Daisuke Hiyama. Futabasha started serializing it in August 2017. The manga has 9 volumes available. The manga is still ongoing and currently has 9 volumes available.
The anime adaptation of the manga aired from July to September 2020 with a total of 12 episodes. The anime had short episodes, with each one being around 15 minutes long. Wolfsbane (Banished From Hero’s Party) animated the series, while Tatsumi directed it. The same director will come back for the anime’s second season.
