The Prince of Tennis U-17 anime revealed introduced the members of the German team and their voice cast in a new trailer. The anime is set to begin airing in July 2022 and is a sequel set a few months after the events in the original Prince of Tennis manga/anime.
The members of the German team in the upcoming Prince of Tennis: U-17 anime are:
- JJürgen Valicevic Volk (CV: Kentaro Tone)
- QP (CV: Mitsuki Saiga)
- Michael Bismarck (CV: Yohei Azakami)
- Elmer Siegfried (CV: Chiharu Sawashiro)
- A. Frankensteiner (CV: Ryunosuke Watanuki)
Junko Minagawa (Ryouma), Takayuki Kondo (Kiko Valentin), Kenjiro Tsuda (Dodo Obando), and Junichi Suwabe (Keigo Atobe) are returning to voice the main cast.
Prince of Tennis is a Japanese manga series written by Takeshi Konomi. It started serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in July 1999., The manga ended in March 2008, after a total of 42 volumes. The TV anime adaptation by Trans Arts aired from 2001 to 2005. A 26-episode OVA sequel aired between 2006 and 2009. A 3DCGI movie came out last year. Konomi is writing a manga sequel titled The New Prince of Tennis, which has been serialized in Jump Square magazine since 2009. Prince of Tennis U-17 is adapting The New Prince of Tennis manga.
