Pseudo Harem episode 8 debuted preview images and a preview video before its August 22 air date. Yes, there’s another episode; it’s a 12-episode show. Don’t panic because of last week’s ending sequence; it may have seemed like it was the end, but the best is yet to come.
With Eiji no longer in high school, Rin and Eiji may no longer be able to spend every day together, but that doesn’t mean they’re farther apart. In fact, his graduation brought them closer together, as the now-dating duo hangs out at his house after school. During one of these visits, Rin gets a glimpse at Eiji’s past as she discovers his scribbled notebooks, clay figures, and origami in his childhood toy box.
Pseudo Harem episode 8 was directed by Takashi Ando, Yuko Kakihara handled its screenplay, and Hiroaki Shimura did the storyboard. Saori Hayami voices the show’s female lead, Rin Nanakura. Nohuhiko Okamoto voices Eiji Kitahama, the show’s male lead. Other voice roles include:
- Mai Narumi as Ayaka Nanakura
- Satou Minako as Kiri Shirasawa
- Maria Abo as Megu
- Kouji Yusa as Tsuguto Iwata
- Junichi Suwabe as Motokuni Nakayama
Simulcasting on Crunchyroll every Thursday, Psuedo Harem gives us a playful twist on one of anime’s most divisive genres, harem shows. When Rin Nanakura falls for her drama club senpai, she wants him to return her affection, but when she asks him what his ideal romance is life, he responds that it’s a harem. Completely unphased by his answer but not wanting to share, Rin decides to use her acting skills to give Eiji exactly what he asked for without actually giving him what he wants. So she masterfully channels different personalities to woo her senpai into believing he has the harem he so desires. And to her luck, her efforts pay off, as Eiji can’t help but be flustered by Rin and her antics. Pseudo Harem is a must-watch for all rom-com fans, so be sure to check it out!
