Ragna Crimson anime has revealed the first trailer for its 2nd cour, which is set to premiere on January 13. A recap episode was released on December 23, and now there will be a break before the continuation. They previously revealed a 2nd cour visual. Studio SILVER LINK. is in charge of the animation. The trailer features the new opening song “Kannousei Revelation” by saji, and you can check it out below.
The main staff for the Ragna Crimson anime includes Ken Takahashi as the director, Shinpei Aoki as the character designer and Deko Akao in charge of the series composition and script. Chiaki Kobayashi is voicing Ragna, while Ayumu Murase voices Crimson.
Ragna Crimson is based on the 2017 dark fantasy manga, which is written and illustrated by Daiki Kobayashi. It has been serialized in Square Enix’s Monthly Gangan Joker since March 2017, while Square Enix Manga & Books licensed it in English. They describe the story:
Dragon hunters: warriors armed with special silver weapons who kill their prey for bounty. Lowest among their ranks is Ragna, who forms an improbable partnership with the young genius Leonica, a master dragon slayer with more kills to her name than almost any other. All Ragna wants is to stay by Leonica’s side, but his dream is shattered by an attack from the deadliest dragon imaginable…
