Reincarnated as a Dragon Hatchling anime revealed the first teaser trailer and main staff, along with a new visual and 2026 release date. The anime was first announced back in March.
Studios GA-CREW and FelixFilm will handle the animation production, with Yuta Takamura as the director and Nobuyoshi Arai as the assistant director. Handling the series composition will be Tatsuhiko Urahata, with Masato Onoda as the character designer. Hiroyasu Oda is in charge of the monster design, with Kow Otani on the music.

Reincarnated as a Dragon’s Egg (Tensei Shitara Doragon no Tamago Datta: Saikyo Igai Mezasa Nee) is a Japanese light novel series written by Nekoko, featuring illustrations by Naji Yanagida. It started as a web novel on the Shosetsuka ni Naro platform in August 2015.
Additionally, the series also has a manga adaptation by RIO, which has released eight volumes as of January 2025. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed both in English, describing the story for the novel:
