The preview for Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World- Season 3 episode 4 was revealed on Tuesday. The new episode titled “The City Hall Recapture Operation” is set to air on Wednesday, October 23, with studio White Fox handling animation production. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime with English subtitles. Check out the preview below:

Episode 4 synopsis:
Garfiel and Mimi came to the square in front of the city hall in search of the children of Raela, who had gone out to play and had not returned. There they found dozens of cut-down Priestella guards lying on the ground. The two giant men with two large swords who had caused that tragedy, and the witch cultists with their single-edged swords, stood in front of them. The vicious laughter of Capella Emerada Lugunica, the archbishop in charge of the witch cult’s deadly sin, “Lust,” echoed through Priestella.
Re:Zero Season 3
Re:Zero Season 3 will run for 16 episodes, covering the Attack arc and Counterattack arc with 8 episodes each. The Counterattack arc will begin airing its episodes on February 5, 2025. Konomi Suzuki is performing the opening theme song “Reweave” while MYTH & ROID ED performs the ending theme song titled “NUX LOX”.

Masahiro Shinohara is the director for Re:Zero Season 3 and will also be in charge of the series composition. He will also be directing the first episode of the season and managing its script.
