What Will Re:ZERO Season 4 Be About?
With the battle at Priestella now over, Subaru and his friends will need to try and bring back the lost names and memories. The story will continue from Volume 21 of the novel series. The official synopsis for the fourth season is described:
Subaru and his companions narrowly claimed victory in the fierce battle at the Water Gate City of Priestella—
but the cost was devastating.
Rem remains in an unending slumber due to the Authority of Gluttony,
Crusch has lost her memories,
and Julius has had his very name taken away.
While searching for a way to save them, Subaru learns of the existence of “Shaula the Sage,”
said to possess all-encompassing knowledge and insight.
Their next destination: the “Pleiades Watchtower,” home of the Sage—
a remote tower standing tall in the great Auguria Sand Dunes,
a deadly desert even the strongest Sword Saint, Reinhard, was unable to conquer.
There, overwhelming natural forces, unknown beasts, and unimaginable threats await.
Together with his companions, the boy sets off on a life-risking journey
to reclaim everything that was lost—
